A Quad jubilee Celebration

The Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Mother of God, founded on June 24, 1844 in Veghel, Netherlands is celebrating four jubilees in honor of sixteen SFIC sisters, some of whom have spent years of service to Saint Mary’s University. The Marian community through the Alumni Newsletter extends prayerful felicitations to the following honorees. Silver Jubilarians: (1983-2008): Sister Imelda Sauco, Sr. Josefina Miguel, Sr. Elizabeth Paraggua, Sr. Minda Posadas (former SMU-HS Christian Living Coordinator), Sr. Virginia Embuido; Ruby Jubilarians: Sister Erlinda Bueno (former Grade School Religion Coordinator), Sr. Agnes Frias, Sr. Lourdes Panganiban (SMU College Faculty); Golden Jubilarians: Sr. Alphonse Casambre, Sr. Johanni Buencamino (former high school faculty), Sr. Willibrorda Laccay; Diamond Jubilarians: Sr. Cecile Belen, Sr. Pauline Valdez (SMC College Faculty), Sr. Maria Tallungan (SMC Grade School Faculty), Sr. Encarnacion Galvan, Sr. Josephine Malantic.
